Exploring the 2025 Shenzhen International Adult Expo: Where Sex Dolls Meet Innovation
The very first Shenzhen International Adult Expo (SZI 2025) took place from September 17th to 19th, and I was thrilled to attend. From the moment I stepped into the exhibition hall, I was immediately captivated by the vibrant energy and innovative spirit filling the air. Adult industry enthusiasts and brands from across China—and even overseas—had gathered here, and naturally, my focus was on the latest designs and technologies in sex dolls and related products.
Immersive Experience at the Expo
Walking through the venue felt like stepping into a wonderful world of adult dolls. The lighting, the booths, and the interactive experience zones—all of it reflected the creativity and dedication of each brand. I couldn’t wait to explore every corner and see what exciting innovations awaited.
The exhibition hall was compact and well-organized, divided into multiple themed areas, with each brand showcasing its most distinctive products.
AI and Interactive Doll Zones
Some brands had set up immersive AI interactive zones, where visitors could experience the dolls’ movements, expressions, and even voice responses. On-site staff enthusiastically explained the latest technologies and product features.
There were also touch-and-feel stations, allowing visitors to closely experience the silicone material and the flexibility of the skeletons. The entire venue was lively, and every corner was full of opportunities to explore.
Focus on Key Doll Brands
After walking through the various exhibition areas, I focused on a few doll brands for an in-depth visit. Next, I’ll share my personal experiences and observations at each brand’s booth.
Irontech Doll
At this year’s expo, Irontech Doll stood out with one of the largest booths on site, showcasing all three of their brands: Irontech, Real Lady, and Sigafun. Their display featured the latest AIO 164cm Celine, the Oriental Series, and a wide selection of Real Lady dolls.
We also had the chance to interview their team, who introduced the newly launched Honey Bronze skin tone. On top of that, they unveiled two brand-new dolls: Selina, a literary goddess from Taipei, and Alara, a modern beauty from Kyoto. The booth was packed with visitors, and the audience was clearly delighted by the showcase.
WM Doll
I also visited WM Doll, a brand long known for their expertise in TPE and STPE dolls. This year, however, they are making a strong push into the silicone doll line. At their booth, they showcased a variety of dolls in different materials, skin tones, and styles, while also introducing their latest silicone technology—a deep integration of enhanced body softness（muscle layer tech） and significant weight reduction. It’s an exciting development, and we can’t wait to see these new silicone dolls enter mass production!
SE Doll
Next, we stopped by the SE Doll booth. They highlighted their signature fantasy-inspired elf-style dolls, showcasing the unique makeup and styling that set them apart. In addition, SE Doll also presented their AI head technology, giving visitors a glimpse into how they are combining artistry with innovation.
Funwest Doll
At the expo, Funwest Doll mainly showcased their anime-style dolls, which were a big hit with visitors. The booth representative mentioned that one of their top-selling models is now stocked in overseas warehouses, allowing customers to receive it within about a week of placing an order—super convenient for international buyers.
Top Fire Doll
Top Fire Doll showcased several of their best-selling dolls, with the 176cm Phoenix being the main highlight. Despite its impressive height, the doll weighs less than 35kg, making its weight-reduction engineering a key selling point.
Mind with Heart Robotics
Previously collaborating with WM, Mind with Heart Robotics is now fully focused on developing their AI doll series. We had an in-depth interview with one of their R&D designers, who shared exciting details about their research: these dolls are designed to display dozens of natural facial expressions, allow users to customize personality and character traits, and adjust conversation styles depending on different scenarios. Looking ahead, the dolls will even feature automated intimate interactions, including eye-tracking and intelligent body mechanisms—something to look forward to in the near future!

💖This wraps up my coverage of the Shenzhen International Adult Expo (SZI 2025) on September 18th. The expo was packed with variety—dolls of all styles, materials, and innovative technologies. It’s truly exciting to see how brands continue to push the boundaries in design, materials, and AI features.
